Heavy Days

Grown Apart – Afrakite

Insoluble, elephantine words in the face of sunless life.

One song which even today, heartily whispers of my congruent experiences in the course of walking through those heavy days, nights.

And, I vividly remember, she was my only thankworthy roommate.

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”
Martin Luther King Jr., A Testament of Hope: The Essential Writings and Speeches

Blacked

Back In Black – AC/DC

We are all ordinary regular people but then we have ‘Dreams’ too.

Our hearts cold today but then we have ‘Love’ a little stretch away must you seek.

We have fresh wounds, many scars but then there is a ‘Freedom’ waiting.

Alone in our head mostly, might as well be afraid, be sad, be depressed you

but then we have the purest of ‘Peace’ must you search.

Blacked?

Fight for the Light must you dare.

One Rolling Stone

My Doors – Dan Hyde

You do not understand, I am not my Facebook.

Not my Instagram account.

I am spontaneously free.

Hansel. A Pluviophile. Aesthete. A Touch and Go.

One Rolling stone heading for the north. Human. Damnable.
You would not understand, I am more than I am, than I am not to you.

“The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge.” – Daniel J. Boorstin

Poems

Shiv Tandav Strotam

Shiv Tandav Strotam

You wish — people you have met and all you’ll know in your time are as heart-melting as that pulchritudinous poem you found, read and fell for… this evening.

People are complicated.

Beautiful poems aren’t.

But You Wish.

Songs

Evergreen – Ryan O’Shaughnessy

Songs communicate feelings.
Songs are too close, your most faithful personal wealth.
Songs sing freedom. Songs liberate soul.

My Childhood

Rock This Party – Bob Sinclar Feat. Dollarman & Big Ali and Makedah

We don’t have to take ourselves too seriously.

at least I am committed. Why?

Because my childhood is still the most beautiful thing to me.

Organic wit.

That School crush.

The smiles. Laughs.

Raw Heartbreaks.

Meaningless Fights.

Sports. Exams. Sleepless nights.

Those Friends and Letters.

Crazy. Sexy. All gracefully Stupid memories.

For The happiest life story of then.

Don’t Let The Sun Steal You Away – Bear’s Den

You are nowhere near me.

But my heart finds you somehow.

Just Perspective

Tired And Awake – Oliver Riot

If anything cataclysmic should happen in your life. You should not TRY to forget!

Kiss ignorance.
You can pretend to not hark a bit.
Put a brave mask and say it, the thing of the past.
Or you would rather try and convince yourself by dint of wreathed words, someone like yourself flung to convince themselves.

Tired you will be, darn dog-tired you will get, of running away from your OWN stories.

Truth is, no matter how far you would have sailed off — these memories will latch you off guard. These pages of yours will once again cut you open as they did then, but only should you TRY to desperately erase them.

Despite, shouldn’t we embrace them with compassion and kindness?

Aren’t you beautiful today because of them?

Just Perspective.

“What has been seen cannot be unseen, what has been learned cannot be unknown. You cannot change the past, but you can learn from it. You can grow from it. You can be made stronger. You can use that strength to change your life, to change your future.” – C.A. Woolf

Spring arrived today

No Regrets – MAGIC!

Spring arrived today.
With hopes to restore the long dead.
With promises to stitch long neglected wounds.

With prayers and words to empower the weak.
With creativity and clarity to crystal long blurred lines.

‘Nowruz’ is here.

March 20 is here.
