Inconsequential

Poetry: How Does It Feel Now – Akua Naru

With life,

we all move on,

we grind our ways, all the way until there isn’t any left,

every dime — spoilt, everything — inconsequential,

but mere cherrypicked memories.

memories best or bad,

all of the past.

… you too.

Happily Ever After

Fall In Love – Barcelona

[part 1]

I can’t believe i am writing this, that,

every single day has been a dream lived since I found you,…

yes, since the day, you chose to choose me above everyone else.

and truth be told, you were the beginning of all my richness; all the riches that followed.

[part 2]

I can’t believe how darn on earth I deserved you in this life,

maybe, I will never find it out,

and I don’t want to, don’t need to.

For just like, there is no one reason for the sky and the beautiful space to be,

you are my permanence without question asked, without any reasons.

they say stars find their place, eventually,

god is a witness, I found mine in you.

Touch wood and most earnestly,

you have been my once soulfully begged,

loudly awaited happily, happily ever after.

and, hey, you will always be.

Elysium

You Won’t Find Me – Narrow Skies

just by the thought of his presence,

colored petals befall, stomach tinkers.

Classy, ever clashing with the heart of Elysium, him,

his eyes fondle corners of this frail, flying heart.

Like always and have forever been.

His voice too a tasty ether. How soft, meaningful and bottomless, the same time?

he makes everything valid,

even the reason i am.

Radiate

Dandelion Wishes – John Adams

you take care of yourself first,

and then

radiate.

you are hurt, betrayed, sad, and broken.

you cry with every drop of blood running through your body,

but then

you forget the taste at last.

so, don’t dare sweat!

let the drudgery of bitterness pass,

let the fucks wash you clean for a new beginning.

Not Be

1979 – Freedom Fry

don’t hurt yourself anymore, because of me.

we were meant to not be.

Risa vs Samyog

HeartBeats – José González

risa weds samyog.

there she was,

the shy girl in red,

crying red, soaked in the beautiful chaos of mixed feelings, lost & found in tears — with the velvet story of a sincere heartbreak and… an incredible, heartfelt heart knot at its best.

there she was,

smiling, laughing  — for the god given hope, to the new beginning in a making, to an end of an endless waiting.

there he was,

the man of the event, happiest, temperate, concerned,

my f.r.i.e.n.d.

there they were,

cracking cheeks at an exchange of mild chats,

scream-talking, whispering into each other’s ears,

ear-to-ear,

together.

samyog weds risa.

I Still Write

Tyo Mutulai – Sanjay Shrestha

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzQSUzMTScg

at night,

when the sun clocks down,

even when my bones and the flesh,

blood and the sweat,

the eyes and my imagination,

heart and the mind,

song and the silence,

howl for the rest and redemption,

i still write.

i pick the pen i promised.
