Joy

Pay attention! ~ author

Storm – Firewood Island

For sure, there’s a future to have,

to be,

to endure,

to wither,

to wander.

However.

Joy can only … and only suspire in the present.

Joy my friend is a conscious choice.

Joy is a question we ought to ask ourselves in every step of the way and,

Joy is without-a-doubt is our meaningful end.

Namaste!

p.s. Ask, how full of joy your soul is as you open your eyes, and as you close them, as you breathe,

and as you exist?

Tihar

A house is made with walls and beams; a home is build with love and dreams ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Truly Madly Deeply – Yoke Lore

Part I

I kicked off my morning walk with this song.

And I folded my day with this one!

Part II

I am missing my home.

Especially I’m missing one particular fragment of memories when I was back in Nepal,

the memory when I wished I wasn’t there anymore,

wishing I was in a foreign land,

wishing I was doing more with my life.

Today, I am celebrating Tihar away from home for the first time.

Can’t tell, it’s heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time.

Namaste!

p.s Have a deep, sound and fulfilling sleep!

p.p.s Happy Tihar EME ❤️

Sometimes

Today’s a no Bullshitday. ~ author

Mike Mineo – Let me be the one

Sometimes,

I write to not write.

Sometimes,

I just pretend to like things I don’t.

Sometimes,

I just want to play a nice playlist on the background and chill and fall asleep!

Sometimes,

the road is no road!

This week, two piphy quotes strong as ever were resonating in most of my days and nights:

One, Seek discomfort.

Second, Improvise. Adapt and Overcome.

Namaste!

Cogito Ergo Sum – René Descartes

Akhiyaan Da Surma (Lokan Ton Chhuppa Ke Rakhin) (feat. Poorva Thakur)

From Lynnwood, Seattle.

These days!

In most days and night, a word has been persistently lingering inside my head.

Grateful’.

I wonder had I been in Nepal, would I feel any different?

Would I feel blessed?

Would I feel happy?

Would I feel incompletely complete?

Namaste!

Listen

“The biggest communication problem is we do not listen to understand.
We listen to reply.”
― Stephen R. Covey

Die Trying – Michl

See, in a world where everyone wants to sell something,

where everyone has their own flavor of fucked-up, holy opinions,

where everyone’s so busy carrying their luggage filled with uncooked, stale, good-for-nothing, glittery philosophies — more than ever the art of Listening, is important.

Wise duly understood, it doesn’t has downsides.

Reality check — It’s been a while, I’ve been trying to cultivate this skill.

And, I’m learning things!

Namaste.

Dreams

Dreams need work! ~ Author

Minelli – Rampampam

I stepped in US soil on October 3, 2021 at JFK International Airport, Queens, NY.

Excited. Afraid.

Tearful. Grateful.

In the end,

I hope I change but whatever good there is in me …. remains!

I hope I live up-to my dreams!

Namaste.

I write

Only few relationships graduate! ~ author.

Ranjha – B Praak | Jasleen Royal | Romy | Anvita Dutt

I write because of her.

I write because she knows how much I love it and would never let me quit.

I write because she waits.

I write because she inspires me.

Namaste.

Delhi’s August

Manike Mage Hithe – Yohani & Satheeshan

It’s been a while I haven’t written anything of substance.

And, I am perfectly aware of that.

It’s been a while I’m healing from all the fuss I’ve been through.

From, adapting to Delhi’s august.

From, merely getting by … many, … so many sleepless nights.

From, accommodating in the unfamiliar territory of Mumbai.

From, getting through US visa refusal.

From, finding a new purpose.

It’s been a while!

Namaste.
