So many beautiful things have happened in the year since your last birthday of 2024, isn’t it?

Feb 14, 2025 happened.

April 30, 2025 happened.

and, I finally get to call you my ‘Wife‘.

Today, being the ultimate Solution Day, 2025 — I can’t believe you’re stepping into your third decade on this planet! 🦖

This day isn’t just special because it’s your birthday — it’s the day that reminds me how endlessly lucky I am to have you in my life,

– to have you as my guiding light,

– to have you as my reliable compass — keeping me in check, encouraging me, pushing me, believing in me, and fighting the fight with me,

– to have you as my mentor — inspiring me to go beyond and giving everything to bring out the best in me,

– to have you as my friend — offering me a shoulder to lean on, a hand to hold, a laugh when life gets heavy, and unwavering companionship through every high and low,

– to have you as my shield — someone I can truly trust my life with, my protector, my safe haven, the one who stands beside me through storms and sunshine alike, holding us both steady.

– to have you as my home to return to!

Without any doubt,

Solution Day — will always be close to my heart, until my very last breath.

Solution Day — is my reminder of how lucky I am, not just to love you, not just to cherish and create moments with you, but to witness your light in the world… in my world! It’s the day I celebrate you, the love of my life, the reason why every ordinary day feels extraordinary.

Lastly, just in case no one has told you lately:

I am also so freaking proud of you:

– for the life you have created,

– for the battles you have been braving,

– for the unsung battles you have been winning,

– for the grace you bring into this world.

Love is the bridge between you and everything.

She’s my Anandamide.

She has always been the exception.

Funny. Flawed.

Class Feminine. Ferocious.

Humble. Reliable.

Curious. Caring.

Giving and Genuine.

Independent. Astute — she is a dancing tree around the fall.

A whistle in the wind.

Oasis of the desert.

Tides in the ocean.

A warm sun of the winter.

And, most definitely a woman with substance-character.

While at times she is as delicate as Cherry Blossom, she’s also an apt embodiment of Lotus that she has engraved on her Calcaneus — rightly so!

While very much fondly I have watched her laugh hysterically. I’ve also seen her sob her heart out.

While very much playfully I annoy her in full cylinder,

While at times I have also hurt her to shreds,

I love her… I really, really love her.

December 5 — I call it ‘Solution’ Day.

This day will always be special to me because the love of my life was born on it. She came out crying out of her mother’s warm womb — already spreading happiness. Sprinkling grace, smiles, contentment, joy and utter happiness — this day.

With every December 5 that passes — My love for her has only blossomed more and more. It’s not that I don’t adore her every other day, I — do — but this one will forever remain truly special. At least for me, until I cease to exist.

I celebrate her.

I celebrate her presence.

I celebrate her strengths.

I celebrate her warmth.

I celebrate her grace.

I celebrate her grit.

I celebrate her wisdom.

I celebrate her love.

I celebrate her kindness.

I celebrate all she has endured over the course of our relationship.

I celebrate her choosing me despite all the others.

I celebrate all our hardships and struggles we’ve overcome.

I celebrate our hope for the future.

It’s Solution Day today.

Thank you, baby, for coming into my life and showing me what true love looks like — and how it feels.

Solution is 27

This is the 4th year we are celebrating her birthday together. This time right from the heart of San Francisco, California.

Some housekeeping for the day: I handled the whole kitchen department as she presumably was enjoying the much needed downtime. Well, honestly I don’t mind when she rests! And, for the dinner we went to The Grove. I remember her saying, “I love the vibe here’.

Looking back the last one year has been blissful and utterly gratifying journey for both of us.

I remember she’d drink ‘Death Wish’ the world’s strongest coffee (they say) just to get through the days and nights of the exam week. Specially, during the two subjects wherein she had to grind her arse a whole freaking lot — Algorithm, and Modern Web Application by Prof. Paul Corazza and Prof. Najeeb Najeeb respectively.

I remember enjoying Grey’s anatomy together with her as we’d eat our lunch and/or dinner until i came to know that my favorite character eventually dies.

I remember her getting creative with countless ramen that were eaten back during the university days alongside F.R.I.E.N.D.S sitcom. She really really wanted me to enjoy the soap, and surprisingly enough, I have started being entertained.

I also remember the thrills of navigating through the preparatory phase of the real-deal interviews. The experience of giving them at par. The delight of landing offers alongside her and our long walks to the local Indian restaurant for a frequent treat to the tongue.

I don’t know about myself but I clearly remember we had just gotten back from our evening walk on the outskirts of Fairfield. And as we were opening her dorm door, the much-awaited call from Jennifer (the Head of Talent at Banyan Infrastructure) rang on her phone. Both our hearts sunk and thumped the same time at that moment. So, both of us quickly jumped on her bed that was by the door and listened Jennifer slowly, delightfully unpack the offer put-forth by her San Francisco based company. The best part of the whole conversation was that she got the offer for Senior Software Engineer position despite having applied for the mere opening role.

It feels heartwarming watching her friendship with Yohannes Kassa Yimam grow with months. Plus, we also made many amazing friends (I’m specially referring to the Nov 2021 MBA entrants at MIU).

I want to forever seal as much memories as I can tank up of our first initial days at San Francisco. As she acclimatizes with her work and the working environment. As she dissolves with the San Francisco way of living from buying groceries to paying rent to paying utilities to savings to adding essential stuffs on her small, beautiful apartment.

To the nutshell, I can’t say it enough :-

In the language of Sung, “You’re a lucky man to have someone like her.”

Solution is 27, today!

Happy Birthday love. As far as the choice of song is concerned, it’s her favorite song these days!
