80

Seneca writes, “The whole future lies in uncertainty: live immediately.”

In the best case scenario, let’s say we intend to live till the age of 85+.

We have curated our diets and have been following through.

We have been sleeping right on-time.

Exercise religiously. Cardio. Strength, you name it.

We have been saving for our foreseeable retirement.

We are walking on egg-shells … walking down a made-up narrow path of discipline, restrain and shallow limited-ness.

We surrender freewill.

Sacrifice freedom — in hopes of being able to live and being to die pain-free, carefree old-self.

Essentially, we are dying like the likes of burning candle in ropes and ways to optimize for our perfect 80s, all while

failing to realize that life is freaking happening right here, right now, in the moment as you read, as we breathe.

May God save us from our stupidity.

Namaste.

Is, Was

More is lost by indecision than wrong decision

Marcus Tullius Cicero
Chezile – Beanie

Robin is an ordinary 88 years old man just sitting on a park — all by himself.

When asked about how he feels at his age. He says, “Well… it feels less than 88… I don’t feel 88. It sort of comes up upon me.”

He further adds, “The older you get, the q.u.i.c.k.e.r it goes. and you have to make the most of it.”

There I remembered my Grand Ma.

When asked about if he has any regrets in his life.

He goes,”I suppose, I do,… yes. Not marrying the right girl!”

He digs deeper confronting he had the opportunity but he was too slow. He stresses, “Be Decisive and Go For It if you feel it’s right.”

There I remembered my Wife.

As naked as it can be, there will be one day when my ‘Is’ will become ‘Was’

When, stuff I stress about today will mean Nothing!

When, people or things that mean world to me today will be a distant memory.

Live immediately! One step at a time.

Namaste.

Speak Less

The more you use your voice without care and caution, the more substance you spend at the expense of your integrity and self-worth.

~ author
The Hanging Tree’ James Newton Howard ft. Jennifer Lawrence

Speak Less.

Actions speak.

Silence serves you.

You — Grind.

Namaste.
