Monica & Bishow Weds

I never want to stop making memories with you.

It was about time.

Finally, a decade old relationship between the two received long-waited seal of approval from the elders.

Priest reciting sacred verses.

Groom, Bride, both visibly cautions to follow through their instructions.

Attendees few engaged, plenty at the verge of sleep.

I, absolute, awake and present was grateful to be part of the marriage matrix.

Groom, the man of the hour dressed in a sharp, double-breasted navy blue suit with subtle white pinstripes, fastened with two buttons for a classic, sophisticated look. Nonetheless, he is nervous, meticulous and vigilant — all while wanting to make sure he is at his best self.

Bride, a radiant counterpart, the heart of the ceremony — dressed in a traditional Nepali Hindu bridal attire wearing a rich red saree, brocade with intricate gold embroidery with floral motifs evidently representing strength, passion and the goddess-like status. Fresh mehendi duly inviting good fortune. Attentive, serene, perhaps exhausted, calm outside, perhaps more-so on-fire inside.

All of the attention there can be is on the two.

While both — couldn’t wait to just get over with.

Beautiful.

Peaceful.

Two souls.

One goal.

Love’s all.

All’s love.

Monica & Bishow weds.

Namaste.
