They drained me dry. Rained clouds of tears on me over and over. They all took some parts of me and disappeared, only to get abandoned by… easily, completely.

I was barely putting up despite Life’s desert trials and heavy sands of unfair hopelessness shoved inside my yellow boots. She reached out to help me. She, the only one who gave and gave and gave.

I asked, why?

She signaled, “Because it is you. Because of what I had already been through.” .

Fears, doubts, she shook, took them away.
